Hints/Tips/Answers from Homework Questions

GR has a tip for rotating a shape. She says that you can rotate a shape by marking the length of a side on a piece of paper (cardboard works better) and poking hole on both ends with your pencil. Then you can place pencils in both holes and turn the paper the number of degrees you need. There is a similar method using a compass.

  1. where do we get the shapes to use on 7.3? it continues to ask for a "triangle" or a "trapezoid" but I don't know where they are getting these.
Because this takes forever by handrawing the shape to be EXACTLY the same as the one on the coordinate plane.

    1. The shapes are the same ones as you used for 7.1. They are on the story page at the beginning of 7.1.
