    1. For 34: Multiply mantissa then the powers of 10. Use the product rule of powers for the powers of 10 part.

      For 35: Divide mantissa, then use the quotient rule of powers to divide the powers of 10.

      For both: Be sure your answer is in scientific notation when you are done.
