Videos for 2/11

I am not sure what happened to my post. I will get it back up asap. in the mean time, here's a couple videos about what we covered.

Short one with a silly teacher

Big hand with an example JUST like one of the homework problems

I have a group on the site those are from. I posted the code on Instagram and gave it out in class. Ask me or a classmate for it if you want to join. I just learned about the site this weekend so I don't have official lessons there but I would love to try it out with you guys so I can get some ideas about how to use it better.

  1. On scientific notation if it is, for example, 12,000,000. When writing 1.2*10, for the exponent would I count the 2 in 12 or just count the zero's? so it would be to the 6th power or the 7th power.

    1. Count the number of places the decimal moved, not the zeroes. In your problem, the decimal moved past the 2 so you will have 10^7.
