Each question is worth 4 points. One point for the correct answer, one point for showing work, and two points for good reasoning. Scores will be calculated using the average score then converted to a "normal" grade. So, if you read a problem wrong but did everything else right or only knew how to do part of the problem, you can still get a decent grade. However, just marking the right answers won't get you a good grade. (If you did it right, you should want to show off how smart you are by telling how you did it!) All kinds of thing count as reasoning: Drawing a picture, making a list, showing calculations, making a table, solving a similar problem with "friendlier" numbers", etc.
If you were absent there will be a form to fill out about when you can take the test in your clothes pin when you get back.
If you have first lunch then I will sign the form to use as a pass to get your lunch and come in my room to take the test.
If you have second lunch then you will have to talk to your elective teachers and see when they can let you come in to take it. Get them to sign the form and bring it with you when you come to take the test.
More info about the test will be posted after everyone takes it.
